Joba rules again?
Assuming the radar gun was accurate, Joba Chamberlain threw two 98 MPH pitches in striking out Justin Upton Tuesday night in Arizona. Chamberlain pitched a hitless inning of relief in the eighth inning of a 9-3 victory.
Chamberlain's velocity hasn't approached the upper 90s since 2007, when he broke in as a reliever and allowed one run in 24 innings.
