Joe Girardi will return to the YES Network as a Yankees game analyst, YES announced on Friday.

It is not yet determined how many games he will call; he also works as a Cubs analyst.

Girardi had two prior stints as a YES analyst in the 2000s before becoming the team’s manager in 2008. He led the Yankees to their last World Series title in 2009. Girardi most recently managed the Phillies, who fired him during the 2022 season.

Yankees' exhibition games in Mexico

The Yankees will play a pair of split-squad exhibition games against the Mexican team Diablos Rojos at Mexico City's Alfredo Harp Helu Stadium on Mar. 24 and 25, the team announced on Friday.

The Yankees will be playing in Mexico City for the first time since March 1968.

They also will play spring training games against Pittsburgh at Bradenton, Florida, on Mar. 24 and against the Mets at Tampa on Mar. 25.

The Yankees then open their season at Houston on Mar. 28.
