Kazmir yanked from start
Scott Kazmir was put on the disabled list with shoulder fatigue and will not start against the Yankees. The former Mets prospect was blasted for 13 runs in his last outing against Oakland and has allowed 30 earned runs in 19 2/3 innings. He is 7-9 with a 6.92 ERA and has lost four straight.
Shaun O'Sullivan will make his first start for the Angels. He has allowed one run in seven innings of relief.
