Kearns or Gardner or Granderson
Joe Girardi has to decide about his starting outfield for Game 1. Nick Swisher is a fixture in right, but then it could get dicey.
Does Girardi dare bench Curtis Granderson, one of the hottest Yankees in September, due to Granderson's 4-for-22, 12-strikeout history against Francisco Liriano?
That would move Brett Gardner (3-for-9, three RBIs) to center and place Austin Kearns (2-for-5) in right.
Or, Girardi could leave Granderson in center and chose between the other two in left.
We'll all found out when lineups are posted a bit later. .
