Kyle Drabek, son of former Yank, opposes Sabathia
Righthander Kyle Drabek, whose father, Doug, pitched in one major league season for the Yankees, will start tonight for the Blue Jays against CC Sabathia.
Drabek, 22, was obtained from the Phillies as a key player in the Roy Halladay trade.
Drabek (0-2, 4.91) is making his third and final start since being called up from Double-A in mid-September. He had a no-hitter in the minors. He had Tommy John surgery in 2007.
Doug Drabek was traded to the Pirates in 1986 after going 7-8 with the Yankees. He was 22-6 with Pittsburgh in 1990 and won the Cy Young Award.
