It’s official: Mike Mussina will go into the Hall of Fame in July with no logo on his cap.

Mussina, who was elected to the Hall on Tuesday, spent 10 seasons with the Orioles and eight with the Yankees. He said he would have a hard time picking either team, so in the end he and the Hall decided he would go logo-less, just as Greg Maddux did in 2014.

“Both the Yankees and the Orioles were instrumental in my reaching Cooperstown,” Mussina said in a release from the Hall of Fame. “I am proud to have played for these great organizations, in front of the tremendous fans in Baltimore and New York, and I am honored to have the opportunity to represent them both in the Hall of Fame.”

The Hall announced the logo decisions on Friday. There was no mystery surrounding Mariano Rivera (Yankees) and Edgar Martinez (Mariners), who spent their entire careers with one team.

The late Roy Halladay, who played for the Blue Jays and Phillies, also will have no logo on his cap. That decision was revealed on Wednesday by Halladay’s widow, Brandy.

The two players who were voted in by the Today’s Game Committee will represent Chicago. One-time all-time saves leader Lee Smith will have a Cubs logo and designated hitter Harold Baines will have a White Sox logo.

The Hall of Fame induction ceremonies will take place on July 21 in Cooperstown, New York.
