No arbitration for Jeter
Jim Baumbach has confirmed that the Yankees will not offer arbitration to Derek Jeter. That means the Yanks are not in the $20 million-plus per year category that Jeter is looking for. Now, things really could get interesting. Jeter will likely remain a Yankee, but the volume could really be raised in both camps.
