On the first pitch of his at-bat, Jorge Posada not only gave the Yankees the lead but he also passed one of the all-time greats in the record books.

The veteran catcher lined an 85-mph changeup from Twins starter Brian Duensing to left field, scoring Robinson Cano – who led off the inning with a triple off the centerfield wall.

The first run of the game marked Posada’s 41st career postseason RBI, moving him ahead of Mickey Mantle for ninth place all time.

(Note: All of Mantle's postseason RBIs came in the World Series.)
