Quick Mo, Posada Update...
Joe Girardi said closer Mariano Rivera is available for today’s game against the Orioles, but he’d prefer to err on the side of caution and sit Rivera another day. That, however, could be an issue if the Yankees work themselves into trouble. Joba Chamberlain isn't available after pitching two days in a row, so that leaves Girardi with few options.
Catcher Jorge Posada, who has been day-to-day because of a mild right calf strain, is out of the starting lineup for the second straight day.
"We won't know [his status] until Friday when we get him moving around," the manager said of Posada.
