Quiet start in Tampa
A cool but comfortable sun-drenched morning at the minor league complex where it's mostly minor leaguers on the field. No position player sightings as yet, though some of the big names, including Derek Jeter and Curtis Granderson, should be out for BP later.
Joba Chamberlain, Phil Hughes, Alfredo Aceves, Boone Logan and Chad Gaudin were all out there throwing, and Chamberlain and Hughes, the two headliner combatants for the No. 5 spot in the rotation, then threw side by side in the bullpen. Made for a good photo if nothing else.
