The Rangers weren't going to sit back. They came out aggressively in the bottom of the first and they went up 1-0 as Elvis Andrus stole three bases, including home.

Not Phil Hughes' fault. He allowed only an infield hit to Andrus and a walk to Josh Hamilton. The latter broke for second with two outs--after Hughes had made Vladimir Guerrero look silly on a strikeout--and Jorge Posada immediately threw to second to retire Hamilton, without checking Andrus at third. Andrus broke for the plate as the throw went to Robinson Cano at the bag, Andrus slid home safely before Cano's return throw could get to the plate.

Shouldn't Posada have looked Andrus back?
