Rays do not have drawing power
The Yankees beat the A's before a crowd of 44,575 Tuesday night. The Rays lost at home to the Blue Jays.in front of 12,972.
"It is really unfortunate they are not supporting this club," Toronto manager Cito Gaston was quoted. ``That's a great ballclub over there. I know if we were in first place at this time in Toronto, they'd be hanging from the rafters -- I guarantee it. It's kind of a shame that they're not supporting this team."
