The Yankes missed an opportunity to extend their 2 1/2 game lead over Tampa Bay. The Rays lost in Boston, 12-5, as Ryan Kalish hit a grand slam and David Ortiz beletd a two-run homer. Tampa Bay has now lost three straight.
