Red Sox fans are truckin' at Fenway
Fans gathering to watch an equipment truck leave for spring training?
Yes, for Red Sox Nation, it is a big deal.
A large number of diehards showed up at Fenway Park to see the 18-wheeler depart for Fort Myers.
``I absolutely wouldn't miss this," fan Kelly O'Connor told mlb.com. ``"We have the best fans in the world -- the fans of the Boston Red Sox. Everything deserves its ceremony, and I think this is the start of the baseball season. We should be here to send off the truck."
No word if anyone showed up at Yankee Stadium.
