Report: Ramirez headed to White Sox
According to mlb.com, the Dodgers will let Manny Ramirez go to the White Sox today. Chicago claimed Ramirez last week and will be responsible to pay $4.3 million in remaining salary for this season. The 38-year-old Ramirez will then become a free agent.
In what was probably his last at-bat with Los Angeles, Ramirez was ejected in the sixth inning of what would be a 10-5 loss to Colorado. With the bases loaded, he was tossed for arguing a strike call.
