Joe Girardi told E-Boland after last night's victory in Toronto that he wants to give some rest to Derek Jeter, Robinson, Alex Rodriguez and Mark Teixeira. He might want to add Nick Swisher, who still looks a bit hobbled with a sore knee, to that list as well.
With a playoff spot now guaranteed, look for names like Ramiro Pena, Eduardo Nunez and Greg Golson to pop up over the next four regular season games.
Of course, Austin Kearns and Marcus Thames, who could be important in the playoffs, will also get at-bats.
