Royals arrive, ready to deal?

Kansas City begins a four-game series in the Bronx tonight and tarde rumors are flying around the Royals. This is an annual event for the out of contention team.

The Angels want third baseman Albert Callaspo. The Red Sox, among many others, have inquired about outfielder David DeJesus.  There's been talk about Kyle Farnsworth (doesn't his name still make you cringe), Jose Guillen, Scott Podesdnik and Gil Meche, the Oliver Perez of the Royals (whom the Mets supposedly would have swapped for if the Royals had been foolish enough to make the deal).   

The Royals coveted prize, All-Star reliever Joakim Soria, apparently is not available.
