What could possibly go wrong tonight as CC Sabathia (19-5, 3.02) goes for his first 20-win season? He is facing the Orioles. Sabathia has beaten Baltimore four times this season and has a career record of 13-1 with a 2.59 ERA.
The perfect opportunity continues with Sabathia sporting an 11-0 record and 3.02 ERA at Yankee Stadium. He has not been defeated in 21 starts at the Stadium, tying Whitey Ford's franchise record.
Of course, all of this comes before new manager Buck Showalter has injected life into the Orioles.
Sabathia had a chance at 20 wins last season, but lasted only 2 2/3 innings against Tampa Bay in his final start of the regular season.
