Soriano's elbow is sore again

Rafael Soriano's tender right elbow has flared up again.
"He said he had tightness," Joe Girardi said before Sunday night's game.
Soriano, who was not available Saturday, said this past week that his elbow hasn't felt right the last "couple weeks." He had a precautionary MRI on Wednesday that revealed some minor inflammation.
Soriano did appear in Friday night's loss to Boston, walking two -- one intentional -- in one inning.
"It's different than what he had before in the sense that he had a little pain before, a little bit," Girardi said. "Today he was a little sore. He said he had stiffness."
Soriano's elbow has given him trouble before. With the Braves in 2008, he had three stints on the disabled list because of right elbow injuries and was limited to 14 relief appearances.
Before Sunday night's game, general manager Brian Cashman didn't downplay the injury.
"Until he gets in the clear, it's an issue," he said. "Until I'm not having to ask how he's feeling today, it's something that obviously is going to be a concern."
