Swisher reaching new heights
Cliff Lee was no mystery to Nick Swisher, who reached the Mariners' starter for two long home runs in Tuesday's loss.
Swisher is going for a career year in all-around performance. He is batting .289, which is 40 points above his lifetime average. He has a career high three triples and with 76 hits, Swisher is well within reach of his single season high of 141. He also has13 homers and 47 runs batted in.
At $6.8 million, he's a bargain.
