The Yankees just took two of three against the Red Sox at Fenway to open the season. The L.A. Angels come to Yankee Stadium for three games next week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday).

In between those two big-time series is an intriguing three-game weekend series against the Rays at Tropicana Field. Tampa Bay should definitely be a contender this season.

Tampa Bay is off to a 2-0 start and can finish off a season-opening sweep of Baltimore tonight.

Evan Longoria is leading the way thus far, batting .375 (3 for 8) with two home runs and four RBI. He's got a 1.250 slugging percentage.

In fact, all of the top 11 hitters on the roster have at least one hit during the early part of the season and eight players have at least two hits thus far.

Rafael Soriano, a key addition in the offseason to help solidify the bullpen, already has a win and a save.
