Ticket asking price soaring for Derek Jeter's last game at Yankee Stadium

Even with rain in the forecast for Thursday, asking prices on the secondary market for Derek Jeter's last home game have shown no sign of slipping.
According to TiqIQ.com, which aggregates ticket resale sites, the average price as of early Tuesday for Thursday night's Orioles-Yankees game was $845.41, up nearly 29 percent from this month's low of $656.42 last Wednesday.
The lowest asking price was $362.
Jeter's home finale is commanding more than double the average price for Mariano Rivera's last game in the Bronx in 2013.
TiqIQ also said the average asking price for the Yankees' season finale in Boston on Sunday is $533.82, with a low of $250.
