Tonight's lineup
Here is tonight's lineup for the first game of a big three-game series against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Alex Rodriguez, who didn't appear in Tuesday night's All-Star Game, is in the lineup tonight, playing third base and batting cleanup. SI.com reported on Wednesday morning that Rodriguez didn't play in the All-Star Game due to a sore right thumb. But Brian Cashman told Newsday on Wednesday that A-Rod's health had nothing to do with him not appearing in the game.
In fact, Cashman said: "He was healthy and could have played."
