Torre, Mattingly to attend Steinbrenner tribute
In a page that would be right out of George Steinbrenner's flare for the dramatic. Joe Torre will return to Yankee Stadium tonight to help pay honor to the late owner.
The Yankees will unveil a monument to Steinbrenner, but it is likely all eyes will be on Torre, who will be back in ther Bronx for the first time since the 2007 season, his last as manager. Don Mattingly, Torre's batting coach with the Dodgers and soon to be his replacement as manager, also will attend. Read more here.
