When did we as a society decide we couldn't wait until just before game time to know the lineup?
I don't think we really did. I think it's a very small segment of us who can't wait until the broadcast comes on to find out who is playing for our favorite team.
But, oh well, here's today's Yankees lineup for the 1 p.m. tilt against the Blue Jays:
Jeter SS, Swisher RF, Teixeira 1B, Rodriguez 3B, Cano 2B, Posada DH, Granderson CF, Cervelli C, Gardner LF, Burnett P
All eyes will be on A.J. Burnett to see if it really was Mike Harkey's fault that he's been awful for the last month.
