Who wants Pavano?
Carl Pavano won 17 games for the Twins last season, but the free agent pitcher is not finding a great number of teams willing to sign him to his desired three year contract at about $10 million a season.
The Twins and Nationals are thought to be the top suitors. The Yankees certainly could use someone like Pavano, but they are not in the mix after his injury plagued tenure the last time. The Yankees also learned a lesson from trying to reinvent Javier Vazquez in 2010. Some players just can't perform in New York with this team.
