The Yankees today declined the 2011 options on first baseman/designated hitter Lance Berkman, reliever Kerry Wood and first baseman Nick Johnson.

Andrew Brackman's option was picked up.

Berkman played in 37 games for the Yankees in the regular season after being acquired from the Houston Astros at the trade deadline. He batted .255 with a home run and nine RBI. Berkman hit .313 in the playoffs with a home run and four RBI.

Wood, acquired from the Cleveland Indians at the trade deadline, ended up as Mariano Rivera's setup man. Wood was 2-0 with a 0.69 ERA in 24 regular season games. He was 0-0 with a 2.25 ERA in seven postseason games.

Johnson, signed as a free agent last winter, missed most of the season with a wrist injury.

Brackman was 5-7 with a 3.01 ERA for Double-A Trenton.
