The Yankees announced their ticket pricing for 2012 Tuesday, saying that more than 70 percent of seats will be the same price or lower, and that more than 1.3 million of their tickets will cost $30 or less.

Among the sections that will be reduced are field level outfield areas in fair territory. Among those that will see increases are non-obstructed bleacher seats.

Starting Friday, the team said it will offer three new plans, including a nine-game "value plan'' starting at $90.

The Yankees led the American League in paid home attendance for the ninth consecutive year in 2011, with 3,653,680, down about 3 percent from 2010.

Last month, the Mets announced that none of their seats would have price increases for 2012 and most would be reduced.

The team also introduced "dynamic'' pricing, in which individual game tickets fluctuate based on market demand.
