Yankees return Hoffmann to Dodgers
Jamie Hoffmann, whom the Yankees selected in the Rule 5 draft, cleared outright waivers and was returned to the Dodgers.
Hoffmann batted .130 in spring training. That's probably not going to get you a big-league job.
