The Red Sox's ALDS-clinching victory over the Yankees on Tuesday night was the most-viewed Game 4 of a division series on Turner since 2007, the network said.
An average of 7.1 million people watched the Red Sox win, 4-3, with a peak of 8.5 million from 11:15 to 11:30 p.m.
The game attracted 23.9 percent of homes in the Boston area, the best such figure for a division series in that market since 2008. The New York market averaged a rating of 13.1.
