The Yankees defeated the Minnesota Twins, 8-4, in the winner-take-all American League wild-card game at Yankee Stadium on Tuesday night.
The Yankees advance to the American League Division Series against the Cleveland Indians. Game 1 of the best-of-five series is Thursday in Cleveland.
