Yankees waste scoring opportunities
The Yankees are up 6-2 heading into the eighth. But they have gone back to their Game 4 ways.
In the sixth, the Yankees had runners at first and third. Nick Swisher grounded into a double play.
In the seventh, Alex Rodriguez walked and stole second with one out. Marcus Thames hit a towering shot down the leftfield line that hooked foul. He ended up popping out to second and Lance Berkman struck out.
Every run is a big one when you're down 3-1. Yankees can't waste these opportunities if the series goes back to Texas.
