Yanks morning links: Dallas Braden lays into A-Rod
Wow. Dallas Braden certainly isn't afraid to call it as he sees it. After the A's ended the Yankees six-game winning streak last night, the Oakland pitcher laid into A-Rod for stepping on the pitcher's mound during the game.
""Those guys, from top to bottom, it's a classy organization. From top to bottom, they do it right," Braden said in E-Boland's story today. "He should maybe just watch his captain Derek Jeter a little more often. It doesn't start and end with him over there at third."
The tirade and loss overshadowed the fact that the game featured the Yankees first triple play since 1968, but you can read about the details here.
E-Boland also has a nice feature on the development of Phil Hughes, who carried a no-hitter into the eighth inning on Wednesday night.
