Tuesday night's Yankees vs. Reds game in Cincinnati was postponed due to rain. The game will be made up as part of a split doubleheader Wednesday, with the first game scheduled to start at 12:35 p.m., and the second game at 7:10 p.m.

Brian Gordon was scheduled to make the start for the Yankees. He went 5 1/3 innings in his debut June 16 against the Rangers, giving up two earned runs. Johnny Cueto (4-2, 1.68 ERA) was the scheduled starter for the Reds.

The Yankees' last doubleader was in Detroit on May 12 during the 2010 season, also a split doubleheader. New York lost the day game, 2-0, but won the nightcap, 8-0.
