Jose Bautista will be in a bad mood when the Yankees face him tonight in Toronto.

Bautista, who leads the majors with 52 homers, was hit twice by Baltimore pitchers on  Sunday.

Baltimore starter Rick VandenHurk hit Bautista in the third inning, but it was a pitch in the fifth by Alfredo Simon that set the slugger off.

Two pitches into the at-bat, Orioles’ catcher Matt Wieters set up for an outside pitch, but Simon’s fastball went up and in and hit Bautista on his left forearm. Simon and Baltimore manager Buck Showalter were ejected.

“After there’s a warning and the catcher sets up outside, to (still) get hit, to me it’s pretty obvious what they were doing,” Bautista, who has 52 homers, told the Toronto Star.

Yankee rookie pitcher Ivan Nova, was threw a high, inside pitch toward Bastista in the Yankees' last visit, is not scheduled to start in this three-game series.
