Alan Hahn ranks the Knicks' top 10 free-agent targets.

LeBron James - Two-time MVP has been the main target for two years now. Can the Knicks convince him to take on the challenge?

Dwyane Wade - Expected to stay in Miami and even battle Knicks for free-agent big men, but what if LeBron wanted him to come to New York?

Dirk Nowitzki - If he wants to consider options before re-signing with Dallas, Knicks would love to make a pitch.

Joe Johnson - Ask any NBA player and he'll say Johnson is a major talent, but is he worth a max contract?

Chris Bosh - All-Star PF would be a great complement to LeBron because he can carry an offense. Could be had in a sign-and-trade with Toronto.

Amar'e Stoudemire - Another All-Star big who could be the key to attracting LeBron, but may have his mind on Miami.

Rudy Gay - Restricted free agent has intriguing potential as finisher and defender; seems to want out of Memphis.

Raymond Felton - Solidly built guard can run an offense and score. Fills a critical need at the point if LeBron doesn't sign.

David Lee - Proved he can be very effective in Mike D'Antoni's system, but defense is a concern. Asking price, availability of above bigs key factor.

Ray Allen - Pro's pro who is showing in playoffs with Boston that there's still plenty in the tank.
