Amar’e Stoudemire was at the Knicks practice facility, getting in a workout before the team flew to Cleveland.

A team spokesman said Stoudemire didn’t scrimmage because there weren’t enough bodies in the gym. Stoudemire will go through shootaround and unless there is a setback he could return tomorrow against the Cavaliers. He’s officially day-to-day.

Stoudemire, who has missed the past 13 games with a bulging disk in his back, wants to get some games under his belt before the playoffs begin next weekend. The Knicks could clinch by tonight if not the weekend.

If the Bucks lose tonight, the Knicks will clinch a playoff spot for the second straight year. They’ll be four up on ninth-place Milwaukee with four to play.

The Knicks are seventh and have a chance to climb if they win their last four games and the Magic go 1-3 or Hawks lose their remaining games.

Baron Davis, who missed last night’s game with a stomach bug, is expected to return against the Cavaliers. Jared Jeffries is questionable with right knee soreness.
