At least Jeremy Lin is sleeping OK

Not everyone on the Knicks has been suffering from insomnia as the result of Lin-sanity.
Jeremy Lin himself says he rarely has trouble sleeping, and Amar'e Stoudemire says he is so tired that he usually falls asleep the moment his head hits the pillow.
J.R. Smith, however, on Friday echoed Steve Novak's comments the previous day on WFAN, saying the rush from winning in front of a fired-up Madison Square Garden crowd is making it hard to get some proper shut-eye.
"The adrenaline still pumps," Smith said. "A lot of times, I really don't get a chance to go to sleep until 1:30, 2 o'clock in the morning after games."
On Thursday, the Knicks had a meeting with a team doctor who gave them relaxation tapes and talked about the need to get proper sleep. Smith said he has tried the tapes.
"It's kind of weird when you first heard the voices on there," he said. "I'm sure we'll get used to it.''
Hoping to meet Obama
Lin said after practice that it meant a lot to hear that President Barack Obama is on his bandwagon and that he hopes to meet him someday.
"That's part of the Harvard network and being a part of the Harvard family," Lin said. "They support me as I support them. I got a chance to meet with [Secretary of Education] Arne Duncan and work out with him last year. That was a pleasure. Maybe sometime down the road I can meet the president as well."
Jordan sent down
The Knicks sent Jerome Jordan to the Erie BayHawks of the NBA Development League. The 7-foot Jordan totaled 20 points and 15 rebounds in 13 games with the Knicks this season.
