Carmelo Anthony will be holding a basketball camp for boys and girls ages 7-18 Aug. 24 and 25 from 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. at St. John’s University.

It’s called "Camp Melo" and Anthony, who scored a U.S. Olympic record 37 points in just 14 minutes in Team USA’s 156-73 win over Nigeria on Thursday, will be on hand to direct activities, provide instruction and give daily talks to the participants. Other prep and collegiate coaches from the New York area will also be on hand to assist.

The release said the camp will focus on the team concept and fundamentals of basketball. Groups will be small to ensure that each camper receives personalized instruction.

Each camper receives over $145 worth of merchandise which includes an autographed camp team photo with Anthony, exclusive camp T-shirt, goodie bag and the opportunity to win additional prizes. Cost of the ProCamp is $199.
