Carmelo Anthony among the best in NBA GM survey

In the annual NBA general managers' survey, Carmelo Anthony's name appears under several bests and mosts, but it usually shows up after LeBron James and Kevin Durant.

The GMs picked James (67.9 percent) to win the league MVP, followed by Durant (21.4 percent). Anthony was under "Also received votes."

Anthony also finished behind James and Durant in "Which player forces opposing coaches to make the most adjustments?"

Anthony was picked second behind Durant in "Which player is the best at getting his own shot?"

Anthony re-signing with Knicks received votes for "Most surprising move of the offseason."

Former Knick Tyson Chandler being traded to Dallas was voted most underrated player acquisition. And former Knicks coach Mike Woodson finished in a four-way tie for second for best assistant coach. Knicks assistant Brian Keefe was listed under "Also receiving votes."

General managers answered 56 questions and were not permitted to vote for their team's personnel. Percentages were based on those who responded to each question of the survey, rather than all 30 of the NBA's general managers.
