Fresh off winning his Olympic gold medal, Carmelo Anthony returned to New York to host the 2012 Camp Melo at St. John's University on Friday.

The camp was organized by ProCamps Worldwide, a company Anthony said he's worked with for about seven or eight years. But this was the first time the five-time NBA All-Star ran a camp in his hometown of New York.

There were 367 campers in attendance, a figure Anthony said he hopes to see grow in upcoming years.

The Knicks forward preached having fun and respecting one another as he greeted the camp members and their families.
