Carmelo Anthony not expected to play Friday
Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni said on Friday morning that Carmelo Anthony would "probably not" play against the Hornets on Friday night.
Anthony has been out with a strained groin. Those curious to see how he will fit in with Jeremy Lin will likely have to wait until Sunday against Dallas.
D'Antoni said Anthony could decide to play Friday if he feels great before the game. But he wasn't expecting that to happen.
Anthony was not available for comment.
