Eddy is the last to show

Eddy Curry is expected to finally arrive at the MSG Training Center on Thursday, one day before he is contractually required to be present. Donnie Walsh said today that he was told Curry would show tomorrow, but he hasn't directly talked with the 7-foot center.

Curry remains a head-shaker at this point. Walsh said he made it clear to Curry that the team this offseason wouldn't be on his case like they were last summer.

"I told Eddy, no matter what we do, it's going to come down to what you do," Walsh said.

Curry had been at the training center throughout the spring, but left in late June. He did not show up in Las Vegas during the NBA Summer League to work out with other Knicks veterans and has not been back to the training center. I had heard he was in Ocean City, NJ working out with a trainer like he did a year ago.

"I'm going to be optimistic about it," Walsh said, "because I never count a guy out."
