The Knicks announced the signing of Jarrett Jack on Friday afternoon.

The veteran point guard inked a one-year non-guaranteed deal. Jack, 33, has a shot to make the team since the Knicks have 14 players with fully guaranteed deals and want depth and experience at the point guard position.

Jack has to show he can stay healthy. He missed most of last season after tearing his ACL with the Nets in January 2016. Jack played just two games last season for the New Orleans Pelicans.

A productive guard when healthy, Jack averaged 12.8 points and 7.4 assists in 32 games for the Nets in 2015-16 before suffering the injury. He has career averages of 11.5 points and 4.5 assists in 12 seasons with Portland, Indiana, Toronto, New Orleans, Golden State, Cleveland and the Nets

Jack is the second veteran point guard the Knicks have signed this summer. They gave Ramon Sessions a one-year deal in July. Both players are expected to help mentor rookie point guard Frank Ntilikina as well as second-year guard Ron Baker.

The Knicks now have the maximum 20 players under contract heading into the start of training camp Sept. 26.
