Knicks announce training camp schedule

The Knicks are staying local for training camp, announcing Thursday that the team will prepare for the regular season at the Madison Square Garden Training Center in Greenburgh, N.Y.
The Knicks will hold media day on Sept. 30 and then will have training camp from Oct. 1-8.
The Knicks will play their first preseason game Oct. 9 in Providence against the Celtics.
