Knicks assign Cleanthony Early to D-League

The Knicks assigned second-year forward Cleanthony Early to the D-League.
He's expected to be in uniform Monday night for the Westchester Knicks when they host Grand Rapids.
Early hasn't played much this season for the Knicks. He's appeared in just six games, totaling seven points in 24 minutes.
Early likely will be recalled before the Knicks' next game, Wednesday against the Philadelphia 76ers.
