The Knicks are 15-5, marking the sixth time in franchise history that they have won at least 15 of their first 20 games.

Here’s a look at their other five seasons and how they finished:

1969-70: Red Holzman’s Knicks started 19-1. They finished 60-22 and won the NBA title.

1972-73: They were 17-3 after 20 games. They finished 57-25 and won the NBA title.

1970-71: They were 15-5. They ended up 52-30 and lost in the Eastern Conference finals.

1993-94: Pat Riley led them to a 15-5 start. They finished 57-25 and lost in the Eastern Conference finals.

1995-96: Don Nelson’s team started fast at 15-5. But Nelson didn’t finish the season. Jeff Van Gundy did. The Knicks wound up 47-35 and lost in the Eastern Conference semis.

2012-13: Mike Woodson’s veteran team is 15-5. More to come
