INDIANAPOLIS — Jalen Brunson had 29 points and nine assists and OG Anunoby added 25 points, eight rebounds and five assists as the Knicks beat the Pacers, 101-92, on Friday night, handing Indiana its 12th straight loss.

Mitchell Robinson had 12 points and a career-high 22 rebounds for the Knicks (43-25), who held Indiana to 18 points in the fourth quarter.

Jarace Walker had 18 points and nine rebounds for the Pacers (15-52), who eliminated the Knicks in seven games in the Eastern Conference finals last season.

Aaron Nesmith had 12 points and Ivica Zubac added 11 points and eight rebounds in his second game with Indiana since being acquired in a February trade.

Pacers coach Rick Carlisle insisted before the game that his shorthanded team was still playing hard despite having the league’s worst record. And though this game lacked the intensity of last season’s surprise conference finals, the fight still showed.

Indiana rallied from a 14-point third-quarter deficit to take a 74-73 lead when Nesmith barely beat the shot clock on a three-pointer with seven seconds left in the quarter. Jordan Clarkson then beat the third-quarter buzzer with a three-pointer that withstood a replay review to give the Knicks a 76-74 lead.

Walker hit two free throws with 2:56 to play to bring Indiana within 90-88 before the Knicks scored seven straight points.
