The Knicks announced yesterday they have signed guard Langston Galloway to a second 10-day contract.

Galloway, who made his NBA debut on Jan. 7, is averaging 9.8 points, 3.0 assists and 2.0 rebounds in 24.2 minutes in four games.

The Knicks said the undrafted Galloway, who played for St. Joseph's (Pennsylvania), is the first player they have ever called up from the Westchester developmental team. After this second contract expires, the Knicks must decide whether to sign the 6-2 Galloway or waive him.

In 19 games for Westchester, Galloway led the team in points per game (16.5), steals (2.68) and three-point percentage (35.8).

The Knicks (5-36) will bring a 16-game losing streak into their game against the Pelicans Monday at the Garden.
