Woodson not worried about job status

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Despite John Calipari reportedly saying he doesn't plan to leave Kentucky, he can't yet be ruled out as a potential candidate to become the next Knicks coach.
But it's Mike Woodson's job for at least 12 more games and he's not looking over his shoulder or worried about where he will be next season.
"Right now I'm the head coach of the Knicks," Woodson said Wednesday. "I've got 12 games left to coach. That's all I worry about.
"It ain't about my job, my security or where I am going to be. I'm happy with me. They'll make the right decision, whatever way they decide to go. My job right now is these guys that are in uniform and the guys that are hurt, make sure they're prepared and ready to play basketball."
Howard, Nelson out?
Dwight Howard (back spasms) and Jameer Nelson (sore calf) are game-time decisions Thursday night for the Magic and Ryan Anderson (sprained ankle) is doubtful. All three missed Tuesday's game against Detroit.
The Knicks expect the Magic to look for payback after being steamrollered last week at the Garden in a game they trailed by 39.
"I'm not looking past the team we have to play [tonight]," Woodson said. "I don't know who's going to play for those guys. I do know who's in uniform for us. If we can put a 48-minute game together we can come out with a win."
Jeffries begins running
Jared Jeffries (right knee inflammation) will try to run this weekend and is planning to return Sunday against Chicago.
